GPFA closed-door meeting at ISLA Presentation

Education, knowledge sharing, and debate are what drive value for our buyside members engaged in the securities financing markets. In our most recent closed-door beneficial owner meeting held in partnership with the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) at their recent conference in Geneva, Mark Faulkner was invited to speak on the likely implications of the Basel 3 Endgame. In many instances there are still more questions than answers as to how the implementation of these global regulations will apply across the securities financing market, but what is clear is the business of general collateral trading to support broad market liquidity will change. We welcome more education and debate on this topic as the regulation and market impacts continue to unfold. Thank you Mark Faulkner for sharing your viewpoints with this buyside community.
