We hope to see you next week at CASLA! GPFA is partnering with the Canadian Securities Lending Association for a Regional Beneficial Owner meeting the day before the start of the CASLA conference on Wednesday, 28 May from 11am to 3pm ET. GPFA member, BMO Global Asset Management will host the meeting in their office building.

The meeting agenda is now available and has been shared with GPFA members. Agenda highlights include a virtual keynote address from the former Governor of the Bank of Canada, Stephen Poloz. Renowned for his insightful perspectives on global economics and monetary policy, Mr. Poloz will share his analysis on the current financial landscape and what lies ahead. The session will be facilitated by Daniel Stanley, CFA, at BMO Global Asset Management.

The session will also feature a fireside chat between Robert Goobie CPA CMA, HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) & GPFA Chair and Bipan Rai, BMO Global Asset Management.
